Cafe Stritch

The first review of the first venue. At Cafe Stritch it's not hard to find a spot to call your own. With sections for lounging and a regulation dual dart wall closed off in the back you just can't get bored here at the Stritch. Tonight I plan to sit and enjoy a cocktail and let you know what there is to offer here at the Stritch. Now I'm sitting waiting for a friend who works the caffeine bar and she seems to be enjoying her shift. I'll have a chance to speak with her about it soon. Stay tuned for more info as I get it

On the cornerish of 1st and E. San Salvador

Outdoor patio

The inside is roomy and perfect for lounging and maybe dancing if they open the floor a little

The stage is cute and set against the right wall with perfect balance inside the large venue

The upstairs looks like the place to be for conversation and the best view

Anybody game for some Darts

Couches are always a great idea for a lounge area. The stairs are in the back just before the restrooms

Yup... I call dibs

Just missing some cool peeps and great tunes

Although I do enjoy a calm atmosphere I often wonder as I sit in silence in any venue... Where is the ambiance? I need some jazzy tunes to kick back to. Maybe people like silence here but this is starting to make me wonder.

Clean bathrooms... But no ambiance... Simple... Just your average toilet and sink room

So I had a chance to talk with my friend. Whom will remain anonymous. Apparently... The owners of this stellar venue are a couple of young firecrackers. Slowly as this venue has emerged as the new hotspot in Downtown San Jose, management has gotten very selfish and have been playing favorites among employees. Now this blogger wants to stay fair but when I hear someone was never late, only improving upon the glory and success of the venue it seems to me that person should be rewarded. At this venue the managers felt this person should be terminated, Let go, fired... Lets just say they are making business decisions that this blogger doesn't understand.

I plan to make a visit sometime tonight so we'll see what is what tonight.
